Welcome to Hugs & Stitches
Welcome to Hugs & Stitches! We're glad you stopped by to visit. Let me tell you a little bit about our group.
Hugs & Stitches is a group of dedicated women who crochet and knit for local charities and also for Project Linus. We started the group on February 1, 2005 and have been meeting every Tuesday since. In 2005, we made over 80 afghans for a battered women's shelter and Project Linus. We also made over 800 scarves, 200 hats and dozens of mittens for a local charity organization. This year we are trying to exceed those numbers and we are well on our way to doing just that. So far this year we have already made 124 afghans, 250 scarves and 125 hats!
Well - thanks for stopping by to visit with Hugs & Stitches. I hope you will come back regularly to check up on us and see what's new with the group. In the future, I hope to add pictures and links to the blog, so come back soon!!
Thanks - Sandi
